Albox is a Spanish municipality in the province of Almería, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. It is located in the northeastern part of the Almanzora Valley and 120 km from the provincial capital, Almería. As of December 31, 2019, it had 11,805 inhabitants. Its surface area is 168.42 km². The density of inhabitants per square kilometer is 70.09

Torre de Tardiguera, Arab tower from the 13th century.
Arab castle (remains), 13th century. The castle site is located on the top of a hill very close to the town. Some remains of the castle remain; the cistern, a silo, the foundations of several houses and a remainder of the wall on the east side are preserved.
