According to an urban legend, Walt Disney was not born in Chicago, but in Mojácar (Almería), the illegitimate son of a doctor and a laundress. Her supposed mother would have emigrated to the United States, where she would have given her son up for adoption to the couple formed by Elias and Flora Disney. According to this, the real name of Walter Disney would have been José Guirao Zamora. Supposedly, in the 40s, some envoys from Disney would have been in Mojácar making checks in the parish archives of the town, but nevertheless, there is no result.
